What is Capri Marquees Payment terms and cancellation policy?

We require a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total order value with confirmation. The balance is payable 30 days before the event. If you need to postpone your arrangements we will try to accommodate your requirements on an alternative date.

Do you help local charitable organisations?

We are always very keen to help wherever we can with a subsidized rate however in the high season it can be difficult to accommodate this particularly at weekends. Please let us know your requirements and we shall see what we can do to help.

Where can we put the marquee?

Anywhere on a lawn or similarly soft surface - not on concrete or hard tennis courts (yet!)

Will the marquee damage my lawn?

We try to ensure that we do not cause unnecessary damage. It is important that the grass is cut prior to erection and we have as flat a surface as possible. Depending on the length of the hire period during the summer months the grass may discolour where a marquee has been located. There will be between 4 and eight stake / peg holes as well as smaller holes where the marquee poles have spiked footplates. This should not cause permanent damage.

What is the hire period?

This can be for as long as required. All hire prices relate to a 24 hour period but if you have an event running longer I am sure we can accommodate this. If you want to try to have a back to back event (party Saturday night / lunch on Sunday) we can normally accommodate this at no extra cost subject to availability of tents. If this is your plan you must let us know early as otherwise we may book the tent out for a Sunday function.

How far in advance do I need to book?

The period from October to Easter is the busiest time for us. Customers book marquees up to a year in advance. Wherever possible we would suggest that you book 3 - 4 months in advance of your function. As with all things we can do last minute jobs but choice may be limited.

What other items do you hire?

Lighting, flooring, tables, chairs, beanbags and fire pits are items that we can offer subject to availability.

Will we require heaters?

Heaters will generally only be required early or late in the summer season. However, the weather can be changeable, it is worth considering a backup heater, which can be used if the sidewalls do not retain enough natural heat. Alternatively consider hiring one of our outdoor fire pits - an ideal gathering place for smokers or to watch that starry starry night!

What electrical supply will be required?

A standard plug point is sufficient, we shall provide circuit breakers and waterproof junction boxes as required. If a power point cannot be provided we may be able to help with the hire of a generator.

Do we supply lighting?

Yes we supply Chauvet LED uplighting - we shall need access to a power point.

Do we need some form of flooring?

Entirely up to you and dependent upon the underfoot conditions and the environment you are trying to create. Most Capris Marquees are erected directly on to grass.

Are side walls included?

Yes, we can either install them or you can fit them as and when required.

Are the marquees waterproof?

Yes all our marquees are waterproof.

How long does set up take?

The tents are extremely quick to erect and subject to no unforeseen hazards we will be on site for no more than a couple of hours.

What is the capacity of the tents?

20' x 20' - 24 seated or 32 standing
20' x 30' - 48 seated or 60 standing
28' x 28' - 40 seated or 54 standing
28' X 38' - 80 seated or 100 standing

These tents can be combined to accommodate 300 plus guests.
